What does the Mexican Brotherhood do?

Hermandad Mexicana Nacional has been founded as a non-profit organization , which with more than 40 years of experience has strengthened and provided support to the immigrant community. Hermandad Mexicana Nacional is dedicated to providing services and protecting the needs and rights of Spanish-speaking immigrants. Hermandad Mexicana Nacional is based on the tireless fight for immigrant rights started by our founder Bert Corona (1918-2001), who was a visionary leader who dedicated his life to improving the social and political conditions of immigrant life. He was a pioneer in proposing solutions to a number of problems affecting minorities and disadvantaged people in the United States.

One of the most significant achievements in the history of Hermandad Mexicana Nacional is that the organization was a leading instrument in legislation to legalize millions of immigrants called IRCA (Immigration Reform and Control Law) in 1986.

With more than 18 offices located in Los Angeles County, Orange, Ventura, San Bernardino and San Diego, Hermandad Mexicana Nacional has become a prestigious organization in citizenship and immigration services.

Linked to this and to the principles of justice in matters of social rights, Hermandad Mexicana Nacional has committed to continuing this legacy.
