Removing Conditions on Residence

USCIS I-751

If you received a 2-year conditional green card through marriage, we prepare your Form I-751 to get your 10-year card.

Who this is for

  • Conditional residents with a 2-year marriage-based card
  • Filed during the 90 days before the card expires
  • Filed jointly with your spouse, or with a waiver if you are no longer together

Don’t miss the deadline

If you don’t file Form I-751 before your 2-year card expires, you can lose your permanent resident status. You can file during the 90 days before the expiration date.

Evidence we help you gather

  • Leases or deeds in both names
  • Joint bank accounts, insurance and tax returns
  • Birth certificates of children you have together
  • Photos and other proof of your life together

If you divorced, suffered abuse or your spouse passed away, you can still file with a waiver.
